Forwarding

It is possible to have your mail forwarded to an existing email address like Gmail or Outlook. To request this, email support@gigaquad.eu. You will need to follow the guides below if you would like to send mail from your Gigaquad address using Gmail or Outlook.

Sending mail from Gmail

To configure your Gmail account to enable sending of email from your Gigaquad address, follow these instructions.

1. Open your web browser and login to you Gmail account.
2. Click the 'settings cog' in the top right of the window.
3. Click "See all settings".
4. Under the 'Send mail as' section click the 'Add another email address' link.
5. Input your name, Gigaquad email address and uncheck the 'Treat as an alias' check box. Click "Next Step >>"
6. Input the SMTP Server (smtp.gigaquad.eu), your username (first.lastname@yourdomain.com) and your password. Make sure port 587 and the 'secured connection using TLS' checkbox is selected. Click "Add Account >>".
7. At this point Google will send you a verification code. Check your email and input the verification code provided. Click "Verify".
8. You have now successfully added your Gigaquad email to your Gmail accounting for sending purposes. To avoid confusion when replying to messages it is recommended that the 'Reply from the same address to which the message was sent' checkbox is selected.
9. When you are composing an email, you will need to select your Gigaquad email address in the From menu.

Sending mail from Microsoft Outlook

To configure your Microsoft Outlook account to enable sending of email from your Gigaquad address, follow these instructions.

1. Open your web browser and login to you Microsoft Outlook account.
2. Click the 'settings cog' in the top right of the window.
3. Click "View all Outlook settings" in the bottom right of the window.
4. In the settings section click into the 'Sync email' section.
5. Click "Other email accounts" under the Connected accounts section
6. Input your name, Gigaquad email address, Gigaquad password. Make sure the "Manually configure account settings" checkbox is checked. Click "OK".
7. Check the "SMTP send-only connection settings" checkbox. Then input your name, Gigaquad email address, Gigaquad password, SMTP server and server port. Click "OK".
8. You are now setup and you should be able to send email from your Gigaquad email address using Outlook. When you are composing an email, you will need to use the from field to select your Gigaquad email address as the from address.
